8/8 students from Math, Physics, Chemistry and Informatics classes of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted won medals at the International Olympiad of Metropolises, including 5 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.
In the afternoon of December 21st, nearly hundreds of students from Hanoi - Amsterdam High school for the Gifted excitedly took part in the event Green Life 2021: Under The Blue. In the event, they had the chance to exchange waste-papers, batteries, used cans and bottles for cute handmade items. Through this meaningful activity, Green Life 2021 wanted to spread the message: Let’s protect the environment together!
On the morning of December 21st, representatives, teachers and the National Excellent Student Contest’s Hanoian team participated in the incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Literature and Imperial Academy, a sacred historical landmark, symbolic of the studious tradition of our countrymen, to express their reverence and gratefulness for the sages, the gods in the past, while simultaneously showing the determination to preserve the good values that have been cultivated by our ancestors long ago.
On December 19, 2020, delegations of teachers and students of Hanoi participating in the 2020-2021 National Excellent Student Contest solemnly held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at K9 - Da Chong historical monument, Ba Vi district, Hanoi.
At noon on Dec. 14, 2020, the school’s board of administration, together with teacher team leaders had a meeting with the selected IOM (International Olympiad of Metropolises) team in view of discussing the preparation phase as well as giving the selected students helpful advice and fervid encouragement.
At 7:45 a.m. on December 14th, 2020, the school board of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted - solemnly held a meeting with the teams participating in the National Contest for Excellent Students 2019-2020 at the Hall 200 of the school . The meeting went on in a warm, jovial and enthusiastic atmosphere and from there on expressing faith that the team would achieve the best results.
According to the published results from the organizers of the International distributed Physics Olympiad - IdPhO 2020, all 5 participants from the Vietnam team have achieved medals, including 4 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal.
“A day as a Foreign Trade student" is a useful exchange and interactive program that Hanoi Foreign Trade University offers to seniors students of some high schools in Hanoi. Students participated in physical - intellectual enhancement activities, integrated with the training content of the University, to listen to the Board of Directors of Foreign Trade University sharing about the university's educational philosophy, learning methods, and soft skill development. More than thirty students from Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted attended and left good, meaningful impressions as well as equipped themselves with much information on deciding where to study at the university level.
On December 2nd, at 100 meeting hall, Young Pioneers of the Classes at Hanoi - Amsterdam High school for the Gifted successfully organised the Association Congress of the term 2020-2021.
According to rules and guidance on how to practice rules of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, approved by Cau Giay district, Communist Party - school’s board; today, 02/12/2020, following a series of successful Communist Youth Union Congress of highschool’s classes, Hanoi - Amsterdam Highschool for the Gifted were ceremoniously holding the Congress of 2020-2021 in order to find out outstanding individuals, who will be the core of the Union this year.
