Since the launching of the competition “Writing about the beloved Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted”, the organizers have chosen out the most outstanding entries. In the formal atmosphere of the flag salute ceremony on November 30th 2020, the award ceremony occurred in the attendance of thousands of teachers and students in Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
With a view to honoring the constant effort of teachers and students from Hanoi - Amsterdam in the fields of tutoring and learning, at 7:40 am, November 30th 2020, during the last assembly of the month, the Executive Committee of the School’s Union has held an Honor Ceremony for teachers and students who have obtained outstanding achievements in the recent High School Entrance Exam and Competitions for Excellent Students.
“Literature encompasses Anthropology.” - Literature has long been a strong catalyst for the formative periods as well as the overall development of human beings. As regards this profound merit, a group of Amsers (HAO) joined force with 2 clubs: The Bookler and Ams Writers’ Guild in order to organize a poetry fair on November 28, at Hall 200 in celebration of the 35th year since Hanoi - Amsterdam High School was founded. This is where lovers of Arts & Humanities gather to participate in meaningful activities.
On the morning of November 25th at Ams Arena, the opening ceremony of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted’s traditional football tournament was successfully organised with the participation of many football teams, arts clubs, teachers as well as hundreds of students and cheerleaders. The atmosphere was more festive and livelier than ever, which was also a promise from this Ams Cup’s football players to fight with fiery passion.
On the finale night of Ngay Hoi Anh Tai 2020 last Wednesday, the throne of the Ams Ambassador competition called on Huynh Trang Nhi from the 11 Geography class. With her outstanding academic as well as extracurricular achievements, alongside an absolutely spectacular performance on the finale night, Trang Nhi completely captured the hearts of the judging board and all of the school’s students, proving her worthiness of the position of Ams Ambassador this year.
