The beginning of 2021 is closing in with great news from Ha Noi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted concerning the 2020 - 2021 National Competition for Excellent Students. 111 students competing in 12 subjects participated in this recent contest, achieving 93 prizes in total. The school held an award ceremony on 25/1 to honor students with remarkable achievements in the National Excellent Students competition.
Vietnamese students won a total of 20 medals at the recent International Math and Science Olympiad.
GART - GreenAms 6520 Robotics Team is the first and the biggest club on robotics of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. On Monday, 18/1/2021, Ha Noi - Amsterdam High School held a preliminary ceremony for the first semester of school year 2020 - 2021 with a view to summarizing and honouring the remarkable achievements and constant efforts of the school’s teachers and students throughout the first semester, as well as introducing new goals and action plans for the next semester.

Our Holland has a quarter of the country located below the sea level, and your Vietnam, with a long coastline, suffers regularly from storms and floods. We, both countries, and the students here, have and will continue to cooperate to fight against climate change as well as for environmental protection.” – Mr. Christoph Prommersberger, Vice Ambassador of the Netherlands in Vietnam shared in the award ceremony for the painting competition “Vietnamese youth’s creativity for climate change adaptation”.

Last Sunday (10/01), Hanoi - Amsterdams High School’s students successfully launched a science exhibition called Science Fair 2020 and themed The Goblet Of Fire. This is an annual activity organized by the Society of Open Science club with a view to providing intriguing insights on Science and bringing it closer to youngsters in Hanoi.
On December 16, 17 and 19, the 2020 IOM (International Olympiad of Metropolises), consisted of eight exceptional and excellent students from 12th grade maths, physics, chemistry classes of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School had successfully completed the international Olympic competition and brought home many proud achievements.
