AWARDING THE WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION "WRITING ABOUT THE BELOVED HANOI – AMSTERDAM HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE GIFTED" 2020

Since the launching of the competition “Writing about the beloved Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted”, the organizers have chosen out the most outstanding entries. In the formal atmosphere of the flag salute ceremony on November 30th 2020, the award ceremony occurred in the attendance of thousands of teachers and students in Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.

One of the activities organized by Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted to celebrate the 35-year anniversary of the school’s establishment and Vietnamese Teacher’s Day is the writing competition to preserve the memories and the love messages from the generations of students under the school’s roof. The competition has received enthusiastic support from the majority of the student body. After a strict assessment and selection period, the organizers have managed to pick out the most impressive and remarkable bodies of work to give awards to during this morning’s ceremony.

The first prizes for written pieces and photographed work respectively went to Mai Khanh Linh (11 Geography) and Nguyen Quynh Trang (11 Chinese-English).

Next, the second prizes for written pieces were awarded to Do Quyen (12 English 2) and Le Nhat Thanh (12 Chemistry 2), while that for photos were awarded to Nguyen Mai Trang (10 Chemistry 2) and Bui Phuong Anh (7D). 

The competition’s third prizes called up the names of Nguyen Mai Trang (10 Chemistry 2), Chu Diem Quynh (12 English 2), Nguyen Thanh Nga (10 English 2) for written work and Nguyen Tran Ngoc Khanh (11 English 2), Nguyen Bao Ngoc (10 French 1) and Ngo Huy Anh Quan (7D). Especially, Le Ha Linh of class 7D got the competition’s “Youngest Author” prize.

 

Congratulations to the students who received awards in the competition. We hope that Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted will always be a dear home to students so that they can share their emotions, sentiments and ambitions!
