HONORING THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF TEACHERS - STUDENTS IN EXCELLENT STUDENT COMPETITIONS AND THE ENTRANCE EXAM DURING SCHOOL YEAR 2020 - 2021
With a view to honoring the constant effort of teachers and students from Hanoi - Amsterdam in the fields of tutoring and learning, at 7:40 am, November 30th 2020, during the last assembly of the month, the Executive Committee of the School’s Union has held an Honor Ceremony for teachers and students who have obtained outstanding achievements in the recent High School Entrance Exam and Competitions for Excellent Students.
Around 3000 students of Ha Noi - Amsterdam Secondary school and Hanoi - Amsterdam High School gathered at the stage area - where the ceremony was held.
Commencing the ceremony, Teacher Tran Thuy Duong - Party Committee Secretary and the school’s principal - awarded honorable scholarships to 16 secondary and high school valedictorians.

33 first place winners in the city excellent student competition for 12th graders were the next ones to be on stage. The high school’s team has achieved 334 awards, including 33 first place winners, 140 second place winners, 79 third place winners, and 82 fourth place winners.
Representative of 12 Physics 1 - Tran Khanh Nguyen - has achieved the bronze medal in the global online competition in Astronomy and Astrophysics.

The effort from teachers is undeniably crucial to this generation’s success. During the ceremony, 10 teachers who led teams to outstanding achievements in Competitions for Excellent High School students received awards from Teacher Tran Thuy Duong - Party Committee Secretary and the school’s principal.

The Secondary team also achieved 140 awards in the recent District Excellent Student Competition for 9th graders, including 33 first place winners, 71 second place winners, 20 third place winners and 16 fourth place winners.
