In the late afternoon of October 21st, Hanoi, during an official visit from Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres, President Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and the Secretary-General held a ceremony on the 45th anniversary of Vietnam’s membership (20-9-1977 - 20-9-2022).
On October 22 - 23, 2022, the test to select the City team participating in the National Olympiad for Gifted Students will be held at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. On the morning of October 15th, 2022, the Hanoi Youth Swimming Tournament 2022 was held at the Hanoi Youth Palace. At the contest were a large number of students from secondary schools, high schools, colleges and universities around Hanoi. Hanoi - Amsterdam High School board was very pleased to welcome the news that student Do Hong Linh (Cambridge 2023) had won a silver medal in the women's 50m breaststroke and a gold medal in the women's 100m breaststroke.
In the morning of October 15th, 2022, in front of the “A honored death for the life of our Nation”, a ceremony was carried out by the Youth Union and Vietnamese Youth Association of Hanoi to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the Vietnamese Youth Association (15/10/1956 - 15/10/2022). Also on this occasion, the Vietnamese Youth Association of Hanoi also awarded 22 young people with the title "Youths with Healthy Lifestyles of 2022" for having earned great achievements in Hanoi. Chu Hoa Bao Tram (History Class of 20-23) proudly represented her school Hanoi - Amsterdam and became one of the bright faces to receive this title.
On the morning of October 15th, at The Dewey School, Hanoi’s MOET held a closing ceremony for the educational "Pure Age Melodies" contest of the years 2022 - 2023 themed "Nurturing Academic Culture". Attending it were representatives of the MOET, the city’s Committee and Hanoi’s MOET.
On the Monday morning of October 10th, 2022, amidst the cool autumn weather, teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted rejoiced in the 68th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, re-igniting the flame of our glorious history with spectacular welcoming musical performances.
Established in 2019, Cam Ca Club aims to spread their passion and increase awareness of Vietnam’s ethnic music to young people. On September 27, Cam Ca represented the Executive Committee of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted’s Youth Union to participate in the "Melodies of Youth" contest through traditional tunes based on the song “Youth’s Duty.”
