In only one week, the Amsers of 20-23 will be giving their parting words to their beloved Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. On May 16th, 2023, another activity of Tuần Lễ Tri Ân (Gratitude Week) called Acrylic Day occured to the excitement and support of many students. Each colorful handprint became a mark of the memorable youth and indelible moments 20-23 Amsers have had.
Another 1000-day train is already coming to its final stop, and Amsers of the class of 20-23 are playing the very last notes in the song of their youth at Hanoi - Amsterdam. In these final days of their school life, the organizers of Made in 12 successfully arranged “A Thousand Wishes” to help students express their feelings, longings and dreams through pieces of notepad paper. The “wishing jar” at the Countdown Booth is simple but has been artfully filled up with Amsers 20-23's many great ambitions.
The flag-raising ceremony on the last few days of the school year at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted took place with many notable events, the most noteworthy of which being the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).
On May 10, Amscapes (part of the Executive Committee of the Open School Delegation) successfully held the main event with the theme of Flip-book - paintings painted by beautiful school years. This is a remarkable event at the end of the school year to help Amsers keep memories through meaningful activities, thereby growing a bigger love and understanding of their teachers and friends.
Recently, the exhibition named AMSTRO'S GALLERY from Amstronomy Club held from May 10, 2023 to May 16, 2023 has attracted the attention of a large number of the young, especially those who share a passion for Astronomy.
Summer is approaching, along with the chirping of cicadas in the bushes and the blooming of phoenix flowers. And perhaps, this brilliant red is the premonition for the moment of farewell? To Amsers of 20-23, the time under the Hanoi - Amsterdam roof is gradually decreasing, the countdown numbers are getting smaller and smaller, and the picture of youth is finally completing with some last strokes. Sketching on the adolescent page with vibrant melodies and lyrics as well as layers of nostalgia and lingering emotions, the 12th-grade students joined hands to create a beautiful and unforgettable memory through the Musical Show before bidding farewell to their beloved school.
On the morning of Thursday, May 11th, 2023, at the ceremony commemorating the 82th anniversary of the creation of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU), the award ceremony for the 2023 District-level Young Informatics Competition was held in the auditorium of the Cau Giay Party Committee with the attendance of outstanding competitors and award qualifiers across the district. The team of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted also took part in the competition and won 12 prizes.
With the aim to thank the teachers as well as keeping records of beautiful and memorable moments of students, “Made In 12” (MI12) is a series of activities organized annually on a large scale by students of grade 12 of Hanoi Amsterdam Specialized High School. Made in 12 program includes main activities such as “Word Festival”, “Red Font Week”, “Ao Dai Day”, “Teacher's Day”, “Appreciation and Growth Ceremony”, etc. After 12 years of successful operation, MI12'23 has returned with an impressive theme: “Ký họa” (Sketching) and many new activities, promising an exciting and enthusiastic event of the Amsers in the school year 2020-2023.
On April 30th, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced that based on the results of a selection test for the international team conducted by the ministry of Education and Training, one student of Hanoi was selected for the International Biology Olympic team of 2023. She was Lê Hà My, a student of class 12 Biology in Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
Every year, on April 30th and May 1st, our country rejoices in celebration of the Liberation of the South and International Workers’ Day. These occasions are not only opportunities for families in need of a break but also a chance for people to awaken their national pride and love for work.
