Amsers recognized for excellent achievements in the 2023 District-level Young Informatics Competition.
On the morning of Thursday, May 11th, 2023, at the ceremony commemorating the 82th anniversary of the creation of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU), the award ceremony for the 2023 District-level Young Informatics Competition was held in the auditorium of the Cau Giay Party Committee with the attendance of outstanding competitors and award qualifiers across the district. The team of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted also took part in the competition and won 12 prizes.
The National Young Informatics competition has been organized by the HCYU Central Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Information and Communication since 1995. After 29 years, the competition has built a reputation for itself and attracted students from across the countries every year, from the regional to national levels.
Attending the program on May 11th, 2023 were Mr. Trần Quang Hưng, Deputy Secretary of Hanoi HCYU; Mr. Nguyễn Văn Chiến, Permanent District-level Deputy Secretary, Head of the District-level People's Council; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh, member of the District-level Party Committee, Head of the Vietnam Fatherland Front District-level Committee; Ms. Ngô Ngọc Phương, member of the District-level Party Committee, Head of the District-level Mass Mobilization Committee; members of the District-level Party Committee; representatives of school administrators; secretaries of HCYUs; Head teachers of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization (HYPO); as well as the students receiving recognition.

During the program, the Standing Committee of the District-level's HCYU - HYPO recognized and awarded 26 young HYPO leaders in Cau Giay district in 2022-2023; awarded 52 contestants and groups winning first, second, and third prizes of the 22nd District-level Young Informatics Competition of 2023.
The school's team also participated in the 2023 District-level Youth Competition and achieved numerous outstanding achievements, specifically:
* The High School Grades: 2 First prizes (Nguyễn Hoàng Dũng - 10 Informatics, Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng - 10 Informatics), 1 Second prize (Nguyễn Văn Khuê - 10 Informatics), 2 Third Prizes (Đỗ Trung Hiếu - 10 Informatics, Nguyễn Minh Tuấn - 10 Informatics) and all 5 students continued on to the city round which took palace on April 23rd, 2023.
* Middle School: 3 second prizes (Hoàng Dương - 9C, Nguyễn Hữu Tuấn - 9A, Nguyễn Nhật Minh - 8A), 1 Third prize (Vũ Khánh Nguyên - 8B), 1 Honorable mention (Trần Đăng Hiếu - 8A), and all 4 students participated in the city round on April 23rd, 2023.
