On April 23rd, 2023, at the Phương Đông University, Hanoi’s Union’s ExCo has successfully organized the 28th City-level Young Informatics Contest of the year 2023 with the attendance of 99 elementary school students, 54 midle school students and 47 high school students.
The Ao Dai Festival was held at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted at noon on April 19 with the presence of all Amsers to preserve the final memories of 12th-grade students before saying farewell to our beloved school. The most lovely memories have been captured in photographs picturing carefree smiles, the flowing folds of ao dai, and a bright blue sky.
On April 12, Samsung Vietnam Complex, Samsung Vina Electronics Company and Successful Vietnam Youth Organization (JA Vietnam) officially launched the contest “Solve for Tomorrow 04” at Hall 2023, Hanoi - Amsterdam Specialized High School. The opening ceremony was extremely successful, marking the fifth year the contest was held in Vietnam.
Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted was established in 1985, stemming from the fellowship of Vietnam and Netherlands, with the main purpose of training and fostering excellent students for the capital and the country.
Message of Love (MOL) is an annual event organized by HAT - the largest arts club of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. After 2 years of absence, MOL'23 with the theme “Love Lighter” successfully took place on April 5th in the AB hall with the presence of one guest club: Cheer Ams. Everything has brought viewers to the land of love, where they can light a candle and go on a journey to find their own love language.
On April 1st, 2023, the OlympiAms Finals took place to the ferment and enthusiastic support of many spectators at Hall 200, cheering for this explosive final round.
On Monday morning, April 3rd, the first flag salutation period of April successfully took place with the attendance of the student body and faculty of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. Aside from the flag salutation ceremony, the school also awarded individuals, classes, and teams which ranked highly in competitions such as: the Fifth National Students' Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition, the City Science and Technology competition (ViSEF), Hanoi Sports Championship, 2023 Green Dreams & Green Studying Space.
Amsers excel not only academically but also sports-wise thanks to the school’s attention to an all-rounded development. On the 30th of March, 12 talented groups, 12 personalities, and 12 explosive performances set the stage of Hall 700 at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School ablaze. It was the last day of the first round of the 2023 Hanoi High School Students Bands Festival, with musical talents stirring up an exciting atmosphere. The whole hall was immersed in the wonderland of music and the echoes of youth.
On Friday, March 31st, 2023, the male and female teams of the Hanoi - Amsterdam Basketball Team (HABT) will officially enter the Finals of the Hanoi Student Basketball Tournament 2022-2023. With convincing victories throughout the group stages, quarter-finals, and semi-finals, the two teams have won tickets to the final round and a chance to touch the honorable Champion Cup.
