With the project “I love history”, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted has made initial progress in the development of Party loyalship among students.
Students across the country have completed the National High School Exam, marking an important milestone in their academic journey. In particular, the candidates at the Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted were accompanied by the enthusiastic Red Phoenix volunteers who ensured smooth execution in the examination facilities and supported the students in the scorching summer days.
Even the summer rain of June could not cool down the fervent atmosphere of our Secondary School Entrance Exam takers at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. On June 23rd, two test centres welcomed thousands of students entering the second round — the pre-secondary-school assessment. For a smooth-sailing exam season, volunteers from the Trung Hoa ward and Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted’s Youth Union have provided tremendous and essential support in the Hoa Phuong Do campaign — Entrance Exam Support Programme 2023.
On the night of June 18, the program HATxHOLIDAY: 19H MIXTAPE took place to the fervent participation and reception from youngsters with a shared love for music. As an annual event carried out by the Vocal - Instrument Department of the Hanoi - Amsterdam Art Team, the whole show has immersed the audience into the world of soothing melodies played romantically on the first few summer days.
On June 17, 2023, many candidates took part in the Dual Degree selection exam as part of the High School Entrance Exam at the Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. Under the sweltering heat, the students took the exam accompanied by enthusiastic support from the volunteers of the Red Phoenix Campaign 2023.
Recently, more than 100,000 9th-graders in Hanoi participated in the 2023 High School Entrance Exam. Regarding its success, it is impossible not to mention the contribution of volunteers from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted in the “Hoa Phuong Do” (Red Phoenix) campaign of 2023.
The GOATS team consisting of 5 11th graders from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School has just won the Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior 2023 with IntelliGlow - a smart lighting system that helps reduce electricity consumption.
In the morning of June 5, 2023, Mr. Kees van Barr - Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Vietnam, visited Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and talked with administrators and teachers in the school's Education Council. With open hearts, the Ambassador and the teachers discussed the educational practices of the school as well as exchange programmes on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands.
During each passing summer, 12th-grade students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted would hold a series of events collectively known as Made in 12 made to pay their gratitude to their teachers and preserve the memories of their three years in Ams. This year, Made in 12 made a comeback themed “Ký họa” (Sketching) and successfully carried out the main event - Gratitude and Coming-of-age Ceremony on May 22nd, 2023 at the school’s Hall 700.
On the morning of May 22, 2023, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted successfully held the Closing Ceremony for the 2022-2023 school year to review and celebrate the remarkable achievements that teachers and students of the school have accomplished in the past school year filled with many ups and downs.
