WEEKLY MEETING: Awarding individuals and teams with great achievements in competitions
On Monday morning, April 3rd, the first flag salutation period of April successfully took place with the attendance of the student body and faculty of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. Aside from the flag salutation ceremony, the school also awarded individuals, classes, and teams which ranked highly in competitions such as: the Fifth National Students' Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition, the City Science and Technology competition (ViSEF), Hanoi Sports Championship, 2023 Green Dreams & Green Studying Space.
To open the period, the students and faculty solemnly saluted the national flag, sang the national anthem, and carried out the ceremony. Nguyễn Phú Minh Đức and Dương Nghiệp Huy (students of class 12 English 1) were two outstanding students who had the honor of raising the flag in front of the school this week thanks to their outstanding academic achievements.

Following that, the teachers in the school board praised and awarded students, classes, and teams that ranked highly in the Fifth National Students' Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition and the City's Science and Technology that the Ministry of Education and Training organized.

Next up, the school recognized and awarded individuals and teams with prizes and medals in the Hanoi Sports Championship of the 2022-2023 school year in the categories of basketball and chess. In basketball, the male and female team of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted both won Second Place. In chess, Amsers won Gold and Silver Medals.

In the 2023 Green Dreams competition that Cau Giay District's Youth Union organized, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted's team won Second Place. Specifically, Trần Minh Đức (12 History) - the team leader of Hanoi Amsterdam's team - with a convincing speech, has been selected to compete in the Third Treatise for Protection of the Party's Ideologies Competition.
Furthermore, the results of the 2023 “Friendly Classroom: Green Studying Space” Competition with the winning classes of the Junior High and High school groups were announced. The winning classes were the ones that possessed clean, well-ventilated and green studying spaces, participating in the “Tree-planting Tet to commemorate Uncle Ho” movement.

The 12th grade quality assessment tests are approaching, so to end the ceremony, the school had a few words to motivate the 12th graders prior to the stressful test, wishing that the students would achieve the highest results possible.
