Basketball has long been a popular sports in Hanoi Amsterdam High school for the Gifted. After a spectacularly successful season, on the last October 30th, the journey of Ams Basketball Championship 2019 - 2020 had ended with a final and closing ceremony at the school's basketball court in hearty cheers from the supporters.
November brings cold breath of wind, reminding me of an upcoming winter. When it comes to November, I always think of 20/11, and speaking of November 20th, I always think of you – my teacher. The journey we have been through with you, for Chinese- English Class 1821 and me in specific, is invaluable. November 20th is coming, and I want to write you this to express what I cannot say in words.
At 10:30 am, on November 13, 2019, in the 700-seats conference hall, the specialized lesson on "The prevention of drug abuse" was joined by the students of grade 10 Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. After the talk with Mr. Khanh - Secretary of Youth Union, Department of Drug Crime Prevention, Hanoi Police Department, the students were able to gain a lot of useful and in-depth knowledge about a long-running issue - drug abuse.
Among nearly 40 clubs at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Amstronomy remains to be an unfamiliar name to the pupils and teachers. However, the club has shown that it by no means has less potential than any of the “seniors”.
