On the 16th of May, the morning assembly for the teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted was held successfully. Several highlights of the gathering include the awarding of accolades for excellent students; the introduction of the Executive Committee of the Union for the upcoming term; and the celebration of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday on 19th May.
In every season of Ngay Hoi Anh Tai (NHAT), besides the race to win the prestigious title of Most Wanted Class of 13 specialized classes, the journey to the position of Ams Ambassador is also a part that draws everyone’s attention. This is an opportunity for dynamic Amsers to express themselves as well as express their personality through challenging rounds. Through the extremely "eye-catching" Art Portfolio competition, the top 10 brightest Ambassadors of the NHAT 2021 were revealed.
This afternoon, May 11, 2022, based on the Charter of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with the consent of Cau Giay District Youth Union, Party Committee - School Board of Directors and Union of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted had organized the Congress of the Youth Union to evaluate and summarize the Union's work, the work of the Association and the Youth movement in 2020 - 2021. At the same time, the Congress also set out future works for the Youth Union and elected the Executive Committee of the school's Youth Union for the term 2021 - 2022.
In the afternoon of 4th May 2022, the final round of Ams’ Got Talent Season 14 - Retrovision officially took place at the 700 Hall, Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. Through the preliminary round, the nine best performances made full success and impression in the final round. With hundreds of students, teachers, guests, and media outlets participating, the 14th season of Ams' Got Talent (AGT) will be filled with unforgettable, memorable moments, and emotions!
After many days of waiting, Ngay Hoi Anh Tai 2021 had returned with the last pre - event - Sports Day on Friday afternoon, April 29, 2022, at Ams Arena football field of Hanoi - Amsterdam high school for the Gifted. This pre-event received an enthusiastic response from Amsers from 13 classes, with uplifting excitement and eagerness everywhere on the field.
Granted the approbation of the Party Committee, the school Management Board, and the Executive Board of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the gifted, the Teachers’ Union have successfully and ceremoniously hosted the Union Congress for the term 2022 - 2025, on the 4th of May, 2022. The conference played an important part in executing the plans for the school year 2021 - 2022.
At 2pm on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Hall 700 - Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, the Opening Ceremony of the National Team Selection Exam to participate in the 2022 International Olympic competition took place with the participation of Dr. Le Minh Phong, Deputy Director of Education Quality Management Department, Chairman of the Examination Board; Dr. Pham Xuan Tien, Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training; Teacher Tran Thuy Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and 191 excellent students from 40 provinces across the country.
After a long break from the pandemic, on April 18, the first official flag-raising ceremony for students of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted was held. Although it couldn’t take place as planned due to the unfavorable weather, the management board, teachers and all students were still filled with excitement and responded with great enthusiasm.
The science exhibition event “Science Tornado 2021: Paragon - Dazzling diamond in night sky” took place at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 with the participation of almost 2000 people. This is the ideal destination for a cool afternoon for anybody with an interest in Science.
Every year, The Classics—a Classical Music Club of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted—has always hosted one of the most long-awaited concerts for people of all ages: Tryst. In continuation of this tradition, Tryst 2022 - Mozzafiato has returned on April 16th with the mission of inspiring and spreading the passion for classical music among students across Hanoi city.
