The incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Literature for the National Olympiad team of 2022-2023
Before the National Olympiad in 2022 - 2023, Hanoi's Department of Education and Training organized an incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Literature with the attendance of high school administrators, head teachers, and students across 12 olympiad teams representing the capital city of Hanoi.
In the afternoon of February 20th, 2023, the incense offering ceremony took place at the fourth courtyard of the Temple of Literature. Over 180 outstanding students in neat uniforms of high schools across Hanoi were present to express their solemnity and respect required throughout the entire ceremony.

The ceremony began with a sacrificial ceremony in the fourth courtyard carried out by the administrators of the Temple. Hanoi's DoET as well as school administrators then took turns to offer incense. They were followed by the 12 teams, with 12 students representing their teams alongside their head teachers.

The ceremony was followed by a report on the National Olympiad teams' progress in the school year of 2022-2023. After the report, Mr. Phạm Xuân Tiến - Vice Director of Hanoi's DoET, made a speech to advise , incentivize, and impassion the National Olympiad’s students before their taking the important test.
A representative of the students' parents, Mr. Lê Xuân Huyền, also made an emotional speech about the months and days of endless worrying and caring for the students so that they can have the best mental state. Hán Minh Ngọc, a representative of the Chemistry team as well as all 12 teams of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, also expressed her determination and confidence of the Capital's Olympiads team this year.

The ceremony ended with an award ceremony for teachers and students of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympic team with many significant international achievements. This would serve as a motivation for their peers to strive for even bigger victories in other competitions.
