In all 3 subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the International Olympiad 2021, students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted have achieved lots of success.
Upon receiving the approval of the school board’s Party Committee, to encourage fraternization and collaboration among the clubs, and to assess their achievements in the school year 2020 – 2021, the Standing Committee of the school’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in cooperation with the alumni-led Hanoi – Amsterdam Organization, announced the competition “Excellent Club” with the participants being the clubs of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
Despite many obstacles from the epidemic, the “Cakes For Charity” event of Ams Baking Club had officially ended with a meaningful ending! 20 million VND raised from the event was donated to the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund on July 30.
In the recent 62nd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted was honored to receive the first Gold Medal in its 36-year history of establishment and that result is from none other than Do Bach Khoa (12 Math 1). With the name that literally means "passing anywhere", Bach Khoa continuously proves himself through outstanding academic achievements, always ranked first in leading math competitions at home and abroad. The nail-biting final round of English Champion 2021 came to a close after more than 3 months of strenuous competition, and along with it, the 3 well-deserved champions of this season have been named. Nguyen Hoang Minh Quan, a student of class 6A at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, was hailed as one of the three.
All 6 members of the Vietnamese Team won medals in the 62nd International Math Olympiad 2021, including 1 International Math Gold Medal belonging to Do Bach Khoa (a student at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted).
So another summer had gone by, and along with it came a very important examination that senior high school students had to take. They would be accompanied by volunteers from the Yen Hoa Ward Youth Union and the Youth Union of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for three days, from July 6th to July 8th, in this life-changing set of exams.
During the final week of June (June 21st – June 27th), the preliminary event Ngay Hoi Tuong Tac (Interactive Day) occurred on the online platforms from the Organizers of Ngay Hoi Anh Tai 2021. In the midst of the social distancing period, especially during a hot summer, the online event has successfully connected Amsers, as well as receiving widespread support from all students.
On the morning of June 26th, 2021, the Executive Committee of Hanoi - Amsterdam Communist Youth Union and the Global Amsers Innovation and Entrepreneurship Network (GAEIN) collaborated with Hanoi - Amsterdam Organization to held a webinar for Amsers to exchange experience on the topic of undergraduate major selection as well as provide and update information related to technology trends and the global value chain.
