A meaningful tree planting ceremony for “A million trees” at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School

“A million trees” program is an activity held by the corporation of the Department of Environment and Vfresh, a beverage branch of Vietnam Vinamilk joint-stock company with a view to planting as many trees as possible for cities and improving living conditions for inhabitants.

With such a lofty view, this program has expanded to places where trees are practically indispensable such as residential quarters, public areas, central routes and many schools in big cities all over the country. In 2012, Vfresh beverage company have committed to make a contribution of at least 3 billion VNDs from its sales to “A million trees” program in Viet Nam.

Right after the flag ceremony on Monday (22/10/2012) at Hà Nội - Amsterdam High School, 150 trees were planted.

Also taking part in the ceremony with students of Hà Nội -Amsterdam was Ms. Mỹ Dung, a figure who has been in the limelight  with the public.
