Images of Hanoi-Amsterdam's Opening Day of 2012-2013 school year
At half past seven in the morning of September 5th 2012, teachers and students of Ha Noi – Amsterdam High School for The Gifted held the ceremonious Opening Day of School year 2012-2013, complementing the excitement of returning to schools after a long summer, as well as answering eagerly to the call of education for all children in the nation. The typically cool and mild autumn day had helped the ceremony running smoothly and conveniently.
The Opening Day of Ha Noi-Amsterdam High School was held traditionally, with the active participation of over 2600 students from secondary to high school and representatives from the central government of Ha Noi.
The ceremony officially started at 8 in the autumn morning with little sun and gentle breezes. Attending this event, Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh – the alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam XI term, the First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Central Communist Youth Union- encouraged the teachers of students of Ha Noi-Amsterdam High School with an inspiring speech, and delivered gifts to reward students attaining excellent achivements in school year 2011-2012.
This occasion is an opportunity for teachers and students of Ha Noi-Amsterdam High School to take determination to accomplish educational goals of the new school year, fulfill promises and duty, as well as upholding the scholarly spirit as one of the best schools of Ha Noi.
