The closing ceremony of 2011-2012 school-year
On May 23th, the Schoolyear Closing Ceremony took place at Hanoi Amsterdam High School in good weather condition, being filled with mixed feelings of the teachers and the students.
A Vietnamese traditional performance of the students commenced the ceremony. This was a well-prepared performance, a beautiful beginning of the ceremony.
After the performance was the formal flag raising etiquette and the summary report from Mrs.Oanh–vice rector of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.

Finally, the Ceremony concluded with the school drum sound from the Principal, Mr Pham Van Dai. The sound of the drum reminded us that a school year had passed by and the exciting summer vacation was coming, however, to many students from the course 2009-2012, sadness and emptiness prevailed, since their memorable school days at Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted was coming to an end. From now on, they would leave Ams for their new and bright future.
