An impressive meeting between History classes 12 -15 of Hanoi – Amsterdam & Chu Van An High School
Both being students with the brand of specialized schools and History lovers, in the past 23/9, History 12 – 15 of Hanoi-Amsterdam (HNA) had an exchanging visit with counterparts from Chu Van An High School (CVA).
Getting an offer from Mr.Dung –10 History homeroom teacher of CVA- about holding a gathering between the two classes, the History class of course 12 – 15 of HNA had exultantly accepted with the consent of the committee of parents and Ms.Huyen – the homeroom teacher of HNA . As dawn broke on 23rd September, all members of the two classes had already prepared to meet at school, looking forward to a promising journey to the ancient village Duong Lam and Thac Bac – Suoi Sao resort.
The meeting was such a precious opportunity for the two History classes in Hanoi to familiarize and learn from each other – their own rivals as well as companions on future paths ahead.Together, the two classes made a visit and listened to the fresh enlightenment of architecture, of a Vietnamese historical period with the plain and simple way of life of the ancient village Duong Lam, subsequently took part in many folk games such as tugging, "follow-my-leader", etc. They also had a friendly soccer game and even a “Water-gun battle” with mischievous but memorable moments of students’ lifetime.
Throughout a whole long day, although all had been worn out, the students still held dynamic energy and hoped the journey to go on, as a member admitted: “I was really excited as we started, and I grew more and more ecstatic as the day went by and absolutely did not want to say goodbye.”. Ms.Huyen – the homeroom teacher of HNA's History class class shared: “This was an amazingly successful and satisfying trip which strongly reinforced solidarity. However, the water-gun part was quite terrifying when I became one of your victims and I am still on the heat till now”.
This journey was extremely meaningful, which not only helped to coalesce members in the class but also created a wonderful chance to meet more new friends who have the same hobby and share the passion for the same subject. In the future, hopefully, other specialized classes will have more and more exciting and meaningful trips together.
