The introduction ceremony of the teams was chaired by Mr. Tran The Cuong - Director of the MOET, as well as other notable participants such as Deputy Director of the MOET Pham Xuan Tien; Leaders from  Secondary Education, Financial Planning, Examination Management and Education Quality Accreditation and Inspection departments; Specialists in charge of their respective subjects in Secondary Education Department; Principals of schools with students in the team; the team’s leading teachers, parents and students on teams.

The 2022-2023 team of Hanoi City includes students specialized in one of the 12 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, Informatics, English, French, Russian and Chinese. The ceremony started by welcoming the delegates at the Hall 700 of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School. Afterwards, subject specialists, the team’s leading teachers, parents and students moved to their respective classrooms to discuss a training plan for the students.

The debut ceremony of Hanoi’s team continued with the delegates assembling at Hall 700. Here, the Head of the Secondary Education department Mr. Ha Xuan Nham announced the establishment of the team and presented the list of the teams’ leading teachers for each subject. Also, Mr Tran The Cuong - Director of the Department of Education and Training also gifted many lovely flower bouquets to the Teams and took commemorative photos with them.

When addressing the missions for the teams, Mr. Tran The Cuong expressed some intimate, cordial and sincere gratitude for the contributions of the schools and the silent sacrifices each parent has made. To hearten and boost the spirit of learning and responsibility within the students in Hanoi’s team for the National Olympiad, he shared his advice: “Dear students, with the guidance from the teachers and your own hard efforts, supported by the care of your family, you have proudly achieved excellent accomplishments. I hope you are prepared for the upcoming hard work that requires your diligence, enthusiasm and endurance during each and every hour and day before the contest to conquer the ever-approaching National Olympiad. As much as I am honored and proud of you, I am also hopeful your sense of responsibility, solemnity and a hard-working spirit will be expressed throughout this training period. As my last few words, I have a message to you: Go beyond yourself; today you are good, but tomorrow, you can be great!

For the team’s leading teachers and other teachers who participate in training the excellent students, he confided: “Hanoi’s Department of Education and Training has great confidence in the chosen teachers; therefore, we hope that they will always maintain a heightened sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and dedication for the students as well as for the teaching quality to assist the students in achieving their best possible results.”

At the end of the debut ceremony for Hanoi’s National Olympiad team, Ms. Duong Tu Anh - Vice Principal of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School introduced the practicing plan and schedule for the team at Hanoi - Amsterdam High school.

The announcement ceremony of the city’s excellent students team participating in the National Olympiad of 2022-2023 took place successfully.
