From the moment I shut the door of the Principal’s room, what Mrs. Le Thi Oanh said has been on my mind all the time. Since then, I, a normal Year 9 students exhausted because of the high school entrance exam, have been motivated and prepared with a firm willpower to conquer difficulties ahead.
On the morning of 10/10, at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training held the establishment ceremony of the Hanoi Team of gifted students to prepare for the National Academic Competition in January 2019.

At the International Mathematics and Science Olympiad IMSO in China recently, the Hanoi team have achieved outstanding results: 100% students won prizes. Specifically, students from the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School won 3 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals and 2 Bronze Medals. During the weekly assembly on Monday October 8, the school board has praised and rewarded 10 students coming back from IMSO.
As one of the most popular activities of Ngay Hoi Anh Tai, the contest Ams Ambassador always receives great attention from students. Before the final night of Ams Ambassador (15/09/1018), Ams Wide Web had a chance to meet and talk to Nguyen Do Ha Trang from class 11A1 - a potential contender for the Ams Ambassador title.
With his achievements upgraded at IMSO 2018, Trinh Anh Minh - a 7th grader of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted has fulfilled his goal of winning all gold medals at every Math competition he had attended.
Ngay Hoi Anh Tai 2018 is gradually reaching the final stage. Before entering the finale to find the owner of the prestigious title Most Wanted Class, students from the 12 majors gathered for the last event entitled "Animation Festival", where famous animated movies are the main inspirations for creative team games. In the joyful atmosphere of the national back-to-school day, the event left unforgettable feelings in the hearts of the Amsers.
