The meeting was attended by Mrs. Tran Thuy Duong – Party Committee Secretary and Principal, Mr. Bui Van Phuc, Outstanding Teacher and Vice Principal, Mr. Ho Quoc Viet – Vice Principal, Mrs. Duong Tu Anh – Vice Principal, along with the entire International Excellent Student Team and the advising teachers.

Hanoi – Amsterdam High school of the Gifted has always had a large number of students joining international competitions. To earn this reputation, there must be the students’ studying efforts; there must also be the guidance of the teachers and the care from the school body.   

At the start of the meeting, Mrs. Tran Thuy Duong, on behalf of the School Board, delivered a message to the students. She emphasized the honor of representing the school in the International Excellent Student Competition, and advised the students to always remember their roots at Hanoi – Amsterdam so as to keep calm and be confident on the international intellectual stage and give their best.

Mrs. Duong Tu Anh highlighted the importance of the students’ maintaining a good health and an apt mindset, especially the two students in the Youth Science – Engineering team who have to take part in the competition in Hue, in order to deliver successful performances. She also reminded them of the schedules so they can remember the important rules.

Next, the students representing the team shared their thoughts and expressed their determination in the upcoming contests. They said that this was a rare opportunity that not everyone could experience, therefore they would always remember their responsibilities with the school, and do their best, in order to make this an unforgettable event in their academic journey.

Finally, the School Board gave the students and advising teachers encouraging gifts as a blessing of luck and mood-booster in order for the students to do their best.
