Ha Noi – Amsterdam’s High School for the Gifted’s National Team takes the nationwide lead for First Prizes won in the 2016 Competitions
Ha Noi – Amsterdam’s High School for the Gifted is renowned for outstanding performance in academic competitions at National and International levels, most notably in the National Competitions for High School Seniors. Unfailingly outperforming teachers’ and parents’ expectations, the HN-Ams Team has achieved an amazing victory. Contributions in Prizes to the City is immense and continues to add to the school’s prestige.
The City of Hanoi enjoys a comfortable lead over other provinces with 146 Prizes won. Ha Noi – Amsterdam’s High School for the Gifted is among the leading high schools nationwide with 12 First Prizes, with 3 each won by the English and Biology teams, 2 going to the Math team, 1 each to the Physics, Chemistry, Geography, French teams. The ranks of Second Prizes, Third Prizes and Consolations account for 33, 23 and 11 titles respectively. Such are the great results that will undoubtedly add an immense amount to the prestige of Ha Noi – Amsterdam’s High School for the Gifted. Notably, the Math team achieved a decisive triumph with 2 First Prizes won by Pham Nam Khanh of Class 10T1 and Dao Vu Quang of Class 12T1; the Geography team finally winning the much anticipated and coveted First Prize in an unprecedented achievement. Other teams such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, French, etc. continued to add to the tradition of former classes.
Behind such resounding success are the immeasurable dedication and assistance by teachers from all departments, the facilitation and care by the school’s Board of Management and most importantly the indefatigable perseverance of the students themselves.
The excellent results of the Ha Noi – Amsterdam’s High School for the Gifted National team in the National Competitions for High School Seniors are jewels on the crown of prestige and showcase the unrivalled education provided at HN-Ams. Considering our achievements, we – the leading force of national education - may pride ourselves, not only on the events that has transpired during the last year but also on the 30-year journey that has taken us to where we are today. This never-ending endeavour to construct, grow, self-renew and evolve will fuel our resolve to continue our efforts, especially in the upcoming International competitions.
