This morning (07/21/2014), the opening ceremony of the International Chemistry Olympiad ICho 2014 officially took place in Hanoi, Vietnam. Two days before that, on 07/21/2014, the board of management of Hanoi Department of Education and Training and Hanoi – Amsterdam High School held a meeting with the students of the selected team for the ICho Contest. This was a chance for the management boards to express their trust in the students, provide them with the moral support and help them prepare the best physically and emotionally for the upcoming contest.
The meeting took place in a warm climate with the presence of the Director of Hanoi Education and Training Department professor Nguyen Huu Do, the management board of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School, the teachers in charge of the Chemistry team, the form teacher of class 12H1 and the two most gifted students of the team Pham Mai Phuong and Pham Ngan Giang (from class 12H1).

This year, Hanoi – Amsterdam participates in the competitions with two students representing the females of the school and comprising a half of the team selecting among 64 provinces throughout the country.
