Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that the 27th National Youth Computer Science Contest was successful, with many great impressions of creativity, timely adaptation to difficult conditions and challenges of the pandemic. According to Mr. Triet, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizing committee changed the timing of the rounds; at the same time, they put efforts into being creative and changing traditional hosting methods by developing online contest software and using smart applications to support the hosting of the Contest. "That change has contributed significantly to ensuring the safety of the contestants while not reducing the quality of professionalism, ensuring the transparency and fairness of the examination," said Mr. Triet.
Due to the influence of the epidemic, participants took online tests but still ensured high quality of professionalism, transparency, and fairness.
This year's tests were of high-quality professionalism, demonstrating the creativity of Vietnamese teenagers, Mr. Triet said. The contest had created a healthy, beneficial, and attractive playground for students, helping them satisfy their passion for programming, design, and creative production; at the same time, it was an opportunity for them to demonstrate and perfect their information technology adaptation skills.
