POWER UP Vietnam is a project established with the aim to spread the passion and knowledge of STEM to the community, particularly to students. The program will take place in online teaching platforms of numerous schools in Vietnam. Videos with carefully selected content, easy-to-understand and engaging lectures would be delivered to help students thoroughly comprehend and develop a passion for programming - something that may seem overly complicated at first, but is as equally interesting as it is challenging.

GART 6520 was accompanied by Kidscode Programming and STEM Education Development Joint Stock Company, with a team of experienced university lecturers with commendable expertise. With Kidscode STEM Academy as the program’s sponsor, as well as a supporter in delivering learning materials to participating schools, POWER UP Vietnam promises to bring useful Science knowledge to the community, fanning a flame of passion for STEM subjects in students’ minds.

On this occasion, the organizers were honored to deliver eye-opening lessons about programming and STEM to students in Bao Thang district - Lao Cai province through the online platform Zoom Meeting.

Along with that, there was the watchful assistance of teachers and advisors who ensured the productivity and the captivation of the lesson. Every minute that passed at Power Up Vietnam would deepen the unforgettable impression that this novel experience had made on every participant.

The Power Up Vietnam Organization Board is honored to bring STEM, especially the field of programming closer to Bao Thang district students. This event is the result of GART6520's diligent efforts during the past few years when carrying out the mission of expanding STEM to communities not just in Hanoi, but across the whole country. 

By mixing challenges, practical exercises, small contests with theory, students were able to have an interesting learning experience. Everyone expressed his/her excitement upon discovering gaining new insights into science, interacting with the organizers and having the opportunity to relieve stress after class hours. The Organization Board hopes that this new experience will shift the masses’ traditional perception of Science, and let it be known that Science is more than just some boring equations.

The event sure had instilled pleasant memories and helpful knowledge in participants, and with a view to achieving the same thing in an even wider community, GART promises to continue their mission in the following seasons.
