Classes’ organization meetings of pioneers
Following the schedule of the school year 2019- 2020, on the morning of September 23rd after the first flag ceremony, 55 upper classes belonging to Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted have commence the organization meetings of pioneers in order to review on their activities during the school year 2018 - 2019, and to vote for a new leading committee of the class’ youth union during the school year 2019 - 2010 under the directions of the school-board. The organization meetings have been carried out successfully, individual classes have gained the opportunity to point out the strengths and weakness of their union throughout the last year, and to nominate for the union’s leadership positions in 2019 - 2020.
The organization meetings of pioneers in 2019 - 2020 was created with a view to reassessing the class union’s activities throughout the last school year, identifying the pros and cons as well as analyzing the remaining problems and shortcomings to come up with new strategies and missions for the new school year. Furthermore, voting of the new leading committee in 2019 - 2020 was also carried out. Participants of each class’ meeting include their homeroom teacher, a representative from the school’s HCM youth union along with over 1000 members of 55 class unions of Hanoi - – Amsterdam.

At the organization meeting of pioneers in the school year 2019 - 2020, 55 class unions have had the chance to report their activities during 2018 - 2019 and to lay out new objectives in the new school year. With regards to overcoming their past drawbacks, students have discussed many topics such as “Methods for a strong class union”, “Entirely utilizing the role of a member inside different activities of the HCM youth union and of the classroom” to enhance the class union’s performance. Moreover, classes have nominated the new leading positions in the school year 2019 - 2020 and took note of feedbacks from their homeroom teachers on the school year 2018 - 2019.
The classes’ organization meeting of pioneers has been done successfully and respectfully. We hope that the new leaders of each class union will have a successful term, drawing from past experiences in the last school year to improve and assist their class union in achieving their set goals in the year 2019 - 2020.
