On 10/11/2016, Hanoi – Amsterdam High School was extremely honored to take part in festive events held by KISH (Korean International School in Hanoi) . Following the tradition of previous years, Hanoi- Amsterdam Art Team (HAT) dance crew presented two amazing performances on behalf of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. These performance have left a good impression on KISH, thus contributed to build strong friendship bounds between two schools.
On October 27 2016, Hanoi-Amsterdam High School’s National Defense Education Team participated in the “National Defense Education competition of Thanh Xuan District”. Throughout the competition, our team achieved remarkable success in different categories and thus acquired considerable reputation for Hanoi-Amsterdam High school.
At 10:30AM on Wednesday morning (26/10/2016), at the 200-seat Hall of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School took place a club meeting, chaired by the executive board of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School, discussing clubs’ plans of activities in the next school year. Attended the meeting Mrs. Tran Hong Linh- Secretary of HCMCYU of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School, together with representatives of over 40 clubs which have already been operating at the school.
With a view to supporting the people in Central Vietnam who have recently suffered from flooding, teachers and students of Hanoi-Amsterdam have been eager in raising a charity within the school.
Time has passed, but Ha Noi – Amsterdam High school for the Gifted still possessed the traditional values that live up to the motto of “Where dreams begin”. Had it not been for our female teachers and staff, who have silently contributed to Ha Noi – Amsterdam over the past 31 years, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve such success.
After the final results of the International Mathematical Olympiad were announced, Dao Vu Quang – alumnus of class of 16’ Mathematics Specialization once again proved his outstanding mathematical abilities by winning the Silver Medal with a score of 27. To accomplish such achievements, quoting him, is a long-term process of knowledge accumulation fraught with vicissitudes as well as joys.
