Junior Amsers triumphed in “Kids Witness News Vietnam 2012”
The film "New Message" on the theme of communication by Hanoi Amsterdam Junior High won the first prize in the 7th National Kids Witness News (KWN) Contest, brightly awarded on October the 31st.
Not only does it funnily and eloquently reflect the issues of communication nowadays but "New message" produced by Hanoi-Ams High School also reminds viewers of their excessive dependence on technology, which leads to serious consequences to their lives. Having come first in the National Contest, KWN team from Ha Noi Amsterdam will compete with six other teams from India, Indonesia, Malaisya, Singapore, Thailand, Australia in the Asia Pacific round in December, 2012. This is the first time Vietnam has ever hosted the Regional Kids Witness News.

The second prize came to Wellspring International School with the film titled "The Bodyguard". In the third place was "Light pollution" by Secondary Marie Curie School. Besides, the factual film "Peril from Spinach" by Phan Chu Trinh Junior High won the best documentary. Two consolation prizes belong to "Poseidon" by Lomonosov Private Middle School and "The fight against junk" by My Dinh Secondary School.
