HANOI - AMSTERDAM HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE GIFTED’S TEACHER PAGEANT: WHERE THE STARS ASSEMBLE AND SHINE

On 11th November, at the 700-seat Hall, Hanoi - Amsterdam High school for the Gifted held the 2020 - 2021 Teacher Pageant. Out of the nine talented, beautiful teachers, only the most outstanding person would be chosen to represent the school to enter the Inter-district Teacher Pageant of Thanh Xuan - Cau Giay.

Just before the opening of the contest, the appearance of members from all faculties with rapturous ovation heated the atmosphere of the whole hall.

The contest began with the speech of Teacher Tran Thuy Duong, Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the school along with the best wishes for the contest.

The nine excellent teachers participating in the School’s Teacher Pageant came from all faculties:

The nine contestants had to go through four challenging rounds: Ao Dai Show, Talent Round, Self-selected Costume Round and Q&A Round. All nine contestants have proved themselves a deserving representative of many and many other talented and charming teachers. Throughout 3 exploding performance rounds, three names were called out by the two hosts - Mrs. Pham Vu Bich Hang and Mr. Nguyen Van Bac. Those belonged to the most outstanding teachers who were able to get into the final round - the Q&A Round: Ms. Le Hong Hanh, Ms. Pham Phuong Linh and Ms. Tran My Linh.

In this round, the three judges including Teacher Bui Van Phuc, Teacher Ho Quoc Viet and Mrs. Ninh Hanh Quyen directly put difficult questions to the 3 contestants.

With a convincing answer about the four feminine virtues: Cong (works), Dung (visage), Ngon (speech) and Hanh (morality) in today’s time proving that those values are “still intact, making a woman feel safe and happy; however, not confined to the concept, instead, they must be confident, brave and intelligent in order to hold in their hands the key to success”, Ms. Tran My Linh became the representative of Hanoi - Amsterdam High school for the Gifted to participate in the Inter-district Teacher Pageant. The 2nd Prizes were awarded to Ms. Pham Phuong Linh and Ms. Le Hong Hanh and the 3rd Prizes to the other 6 contestants.

The Hanoi - Amsterdam High school for the Gifted’s Teacher Pageant ended with the prestigious 1st Prize awarded to Ms. Tran My Linh from the Literature Faculty. Congratulations to all nine teachers who shone brilliantly through the pageant and best wishes to Ms. Tran My Linh in the upcoming contest!
