In the evening of Jan 30^th, the promenade awarding ceremony for the contest Ams’ Got Talent Season 8 (AGT8) was held at the venue of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted with the participant of an abundance of Amsers.

Afterglow Promenade has marked the gloriously successful finale of AGT8 and awarded the school’s outstanding artistic talents, as well as offered Amsers the one and only night to shine and freely express themselves. Students were immersed in the flow of vibrant dances imbued with emotions while having on their formal attires and socializing with a myriad of special guests.

At the beginning of the show, Afterglow presented the most distinguished individuals and groups participating in Season 8 of Ams’ Got Talent. After 2 months of fiercely intense competition, the winner of this year’s contest was announced to be the 6^th grader Dương Thanh Thảo and her excellent song “The Mice Wedding”. First prize was awarded to dancing crew Roar of Art; Lê Bùi Thanh Hằng was named the runner-up with the solo piano performance; third place belonged to Tống Quang Huy and his magic tricks. Apart from the aforementioned, Potential Award was presented to band Nắng. and Musical Award went to Trịnh Minh Tuấn.

What’s more, Afterglow Promenade was specially highlighted with the side event “Promposal – An invitation to Prom” with an aim to promoting the beauty of promenade culture as well as building close relationships among students. First prize for the best Promposal was given to the couple of Thu An – Hoàng Hiệp for their exceptional number of votes.

Moreover, Afterglow Promenade also featured the appearance of special guests among the popular youth such as male singer ERIK (ST.319), female singer Nhật Thủy (winner of Vietnam Idol 2013), dancing crew SINE and female judge – singer Khánh Ly (third place Sao Mai 2011).

It would be a major shortcoming if the mention of promenade failed to take heed of its dances. From the delicately romantic waltz to the vivid beats of EDM brought by the DJ duos Phantoms and Doanh & Hamhamm, Amsers all went with the passionate flow to expunge the lassitude of a taxing semester and brace themselves for a new year full of new energy.

As an annual landmark, AGT Promenade has become one of the most expected events of the year for students of Ams. With the theme Afterglow, the night was a perfect ending to a journey of AGT saturated with ardent passion, forever instilling in the minds of its guests the unforgettable memories of their student life.

Coming out of Ams’ Got Talent, Amsers glow with their different flairs, asserting their own abilities and growing more and more mature with their own burning passion.
