Last night (18/2), there was a concert at Tay Ho culture centre held by Operation Smile charity organization together with United Nations International School and Hanoi-Amsterdam High School.

Operation Smile is an organization founded to raise funds and operate surgeries to correct cleft lip and palate for the children worldwide. In Vietnam, the organization received a lot of contributions and support from students.

The concert yesterday was also one of the activities carried out to raise funds give Vietnamese students a chance to exchange and learn from international friends studying in Vietnam. Besides UNIS and Hanoi – Amsterdam high school, there were also performances from other schools such as Hanoi International School, Korean School, FLSS and so on.

Diva My Linh

Especially, singer My Linh and her daughter were also present at the concert. Diva My Linh proved her class and showed her affection for the late artist Withney Houston through a song. Confiding to the audience, she admitted that Withney Houston inspired and had a great impact on her when she was 16 or 17 years old.

In conclusion, UNIS and Hanoi-Amsterdam students held such a successful concert. Through this, students can have a better understanding and contribute to bring childlike smiles to unlucky children.
