The trial centered on the case against  the suspected Casey Campbell, a resereved, quirky student who hesitated to communicate with people. Therefore, under pressure, suppressed from violence, teasing and isolation at school, the suspect has acted spontaneously, superficial: bombing at school though unsuccessful. This action has disrupted social order and security, seriously affecting people's lives. During the trial, the jury will make a decision on the crime of the suspect.

Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Mai, the organizer of Mock Trial 2017, shared the preparation process of all members from the organizing committee.

At the start of the trial, Pham Phuong Chi from the prosecution team and Dang Ngoc Linh Trang from the lawyers' team made the opening remarks. Through the introduction, viewers can have the brief description of the case of sabotaging school facilities.

 Next, each member from  the team of lawyers and prosecutors interrogated  the defendant, plaintiffs and a group of witnesses of the case. Through the interrogation, the truth had been found, the balance of justice has been preserved and above all, participants have recognized the deep message behind the case: School violence has been and is leaving negative impacts on the victims in particular and the whole society in general. This will also make the victims of school violence criminals.

Close the trial, the verdict was on the defendant, with a resounding victory for the law team. Nevertheless, the resonance of the trial remains, as a reminder to each and every individual, especially to the students in the community, urging them to join hands against school violence.
