On the 18 of October , the field trip to Bac Giang of classes 10T1, 10T2, 10P2 and 10A2 was officially organized. With a number of activities such as granting presents to the children of Truong Son – Luc Nam primary school and having some small talks with members of the Army Corps 2, the journey has left students of Hanoi – Amsterdam with a lot of special, interesting and meaningful experience.

Warm affection

Under the green cover of luxuriant trees, students of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School together with their teachers and parents were welcomed with a round of applause as they entered the front yard. Everyone was greatly touched by the warm welcome of all the staff and students of Truong Son primary school.

The program began with the speech of the school’s sub-principal – Mr Nguyen Tien Dung, then continued with an adorable performance of the song “Hey Vietnam” by the young art team of Truong Son primary school.

In response to the warm affection of the teachers and children, Amsers continued the exchange show with a lot of well-prepared music performances.

The meaningful song “Live like a flower” performed by class 10A2 with a lot of youthfulness and livelihood

The atmosphere turned more lively and vivid with the dance performance “Gentleman” together with a rap song from 10P2

10T2 brought to the show the song “Fly” by Thu Minh together with sincere wishes that the dreams of the children would come true

Experience with the soldiers

After saying goodbye to Truong Son primary school, the whole Hanoi – Amsterdam High School went on to the next destination: Depot KT 291 – Techonology Department – Army Corps 2.

With a lot of students, this perhaps was the first time they had ever had lunch in the army. The dishses were all prepared and cooked by the soldiers of the corps.

After the noon break, Amsers altogether joined the get-together meeting organized by the Army Corps 2; all students had the chance to join two games: ‘Tug of war” and “The blanket folding competition”.

In the competition between 10T1 and 10T2, after a long period of being dragged back and forth, the red flag on the rope was finally pulled to the side of 10T1.

Enthusiastic support from 10A2 girls to 10T2 boys

Boys of 2 Math classes tried their power with soldiers of the Army Corps 2, and surprisingly, youthfulness got the winning position.

While two members from each class prepared for the blanket folding competition, 10T1 altogether sang the song “Great circle of love”, which was then followed by the dance performances of 10A2, 10P2 and the song “Sincerity” by 10T1.

And the last activity of the program was the blanket folding competition.With their thouroughness and carefulness, 10A2 and 10P2 convincingly won the first prize; the second and the third were granted to 10T2 and 10T1 respectively.
