Reporter: Firstly, allow me to express the most sincere thanks to you for accepting the interview today. There are only a few days left until October 20, the day of Vietnamese Women, how do you feel right now?

My emotions now are of course happiness and satisfaction, also a little eager as the Vietnam Women's Day 20/10  is so near that the atmosphere is bustling and much busier. Adding to that is the great resonance of cool autumn weather, so I believe the 20/10 this year will be meaningful and complete!

Reporter: Not dry mathematics formulas, nor profoundly soft literature, but History - a rather special subject for many people.It’s rare that people from the present seek to face with the past of ancient history, so what charms make a young teacher like you choose to love, stick to and teach this subject?

It came very natural since from high school, I was inspired by my own teacher. The more I listen to, the deeper I was in love with History, and I didn’t even realize. With passion, I decided to deepen the study, from which I have found new and exciting things!

Reporter: With personal observations and experience in your teaching career, what do you think about the comments: "Today, the younger generation of students are not interested in learning about the history of the world and of the nation."?

In my opinion, each student has their own questions and interest in the history of not only our nation but also the whole world. What is important is whether those questions are answered attractively, or whether the way the teacher conveys the knowledge appeals to the students. Igniting students’ passion for learning is the responsibility and also the prerogative of every teacher with the next generation.

Reporter: There are many paths to enter a person's heart. With your students, what way do you choose? In your opinion, what do you worry about the most when standing on the podium?

In my opinion, the closest way to enter the heart is using the heart! Learn to understand, share and listen to the questions of the pupils to build trust and stable relationships. Not only in a personal way, the love should also be sent through the lectures, and I believe that the students will feel the teacher’s passion and devotion.

The biggest concern for not only me but also History teachers in general is how to bring history and culture closer to the younger generation of students, so that they feel the great value of understanding the origins of the nation, rather than just learn it as a compulsory subject in the curriculum.
