Post by: webams | 01/10/2023 | 529 reads

In the midst of the exciting Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, during the last week of September 2023, the middle school classes of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted all organized Mid-Autumn feasts and celebrations. Impressively, these activities are planned and organized by the students themselves.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, known by various names such as the Full Moon Festival or the Mooncake Festival, is an important traditional festival that takes place on the full moon of the 8th lunar month every year (that is, August 15). This special occasion is looked forward to and celebrated everywhere on this S-shaped land. The holiday brings about a unique combination of folk culture and traditional family values.

Class 6B's feast includes cakes and five-fruit trays, traditionally presented in a beautiful and creative way.

For that very reason, the middle school classes of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted have organized fun traditional activities, which are not only opportunities to preserve the good customs and traditions of the nation, but also chances to create warm and loving environments for bonding and solidarity between students and teachers.

Performances from the students of 6D

Laughter erupted from 7C at the humorous antics of the two tiny "Uncle Cuoi". The innocence dialogue and goofy glasses made the Mid-Autumn Festival afternoon even more memorable.

Class 8B made a strong impression with a carefully prepared magic show. The students were also extremely confident even when interacting directly with the magician.

Class 9 Manchester may have a smaller student body, but is no way inferior in terms of creativity. Handmade lanterns or games in sparkling lights enraptured even the teachers passing by this class.

Even the school's Literature team - known for its seriousness and pressure - did not skip the festivities. A few plates of fruit and a fish-shaped mooncake were enough to warm up the atmosphere, even on such a rainy day in Hanoi!

These brilliant images are perhaps enough to showcase the creativity, confidence and spirit of celebrating Vietnamese traditions among Middle School Amsers. These little students will eventually grow up, but we can trust that the beautiful memories of the Mid-Autumn Festival alongside friends stay a part of their souls and stay with them for the long road ahead. On behalf of the Editorial Department, we would like to wish everyone a cozy and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival!
