The profession of a teacher, since the beginning and through many generations, has always been a respectable and noble profession. For many years, November 20th has been an opportunity for people to express their most cherished feelings to teachers, those who have given their minds and hearts to dedicate their ever-blooming intellectual and moral virtues. Over the past 35 years, the beloved teachers of the Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted have been persistently and diligently researching and teaching generations of students, gaining achievements not only in the country, but also putting their names on the map. This year, the school is once again honored to receive the Emulation Flag awarded by the Government for its continuous efforts to contribute to education.

To have such great joy and honor, it is impossible not to mention the great contribution of the first generations of teachers, those who have laid the foundation for the school from the rough early days; People's Teacher Nguyen Kim Hoan, the former Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the first former Head Principal of the school, on behalf of the first teachers of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, expressed his thoughts and sentiments with the school and the new generation of teachers and students.

35 years of development and growth, with passionate and burning aspirations, closely-knitted and deep affections, perhaps what Hanoi - Amsterdam wants to preserve the most is the tradition of respect, following the saying “When drinking water, remembering its source.”, which has been, and will always be, nurturing the flow of Hanoi - Amsterdam High Schools

The program finally ended with the repertoire of "Gratitude of Teachers and Students" and "The Song of Hanoi-Amsterdam" by the school’s teacher-student performance team, with the special appearance of alumni who have become the school’s staff and leaders - those who have received the gifts from history and will take on the responsibility of writing the future.

The celebration of  Vietnam Teachers' Day 20/11, combined with the Hanoi - Amsterdam School's 35 years anniversary, has ended successfully. The heartwarming images and memories and the sacred moments like today will stand the test of time and live on forever in our hearts and minds. On behalf of the Website’s Editorial Board, we would like to send our best wishes to our teachers on November 20th, as well as wish our Hanoi - Amsterdam a steady grow, more achievements and even more successes in the future!
