Hanoi – Amsterdam High School is originally well-known for its extra-curricular activities with nearly 40 clubs of different sizes in the field of social activities, sports, academics and arts which boost Amsers’ confidence and dynamism. Humans of Hanoi-Amsterdam is one of those clubs. Let’s meet HoHA to find out more about this special “friend”!

Reporter: Hi HoHA, could you please tell me about the establishment process of the club as well as its activites?

Our HoHA was founded in 2014 with a view to treasuring thoughts about Ams, at Ams and of Ams by means of photographs and personal anecdotes. Having operated for almost 3 years, HoHA has so far left some certain marks, with our fanpage reaching over 16000 likes

Reporter: Since the club started coming into operation, has HoHA met with any difficulty in searching for those stories and making them appealing to readers?'

Behind each Amser, there are always stories that we are very honoured to share to everyone. Each individual possesses his or her own thoughts that make his or her stories special and unique, it is like a natural attarctive force, so what we had to do is almost nothing. We have had some difficulties of course, since not everyone is willing to share their thoughts and images, so we always try to conduct the interview in the most delicate and graceful way.

“During four years’ time of working at this school, I have no memorable memories, because I have borne in mind that I go to work just to earn money. But I would be so sad if I had to leave this place…”

“I love watching football and eating snacks most. Every time I eat pumkin snacks, my favourite team wins. Today the orange team that I love have become the championship, that is definitely because I ate 2 packs of pumkin snacks! Now the championship is over, I do not know how to ask my Mom to buy me more snacks. If only they would continue playing football.”

“… When summer comes, during the last days of the schoolyear, I walk to school, so slowly to feel that another farewell season is imminent. Everything starts and ends, and so do I. Do I have any regrets? I do, a lot, but there is no getting away from it.”
