Hanoi Amsterdam High School is located in downtown Hanoi. This place is home to busy mornings, urban life’s bustle, and the most vivid and panoramic traffic issues of Hanoi. Inspired by the roads and the streets on the way to school every day, Amsers, through the lens of young artists, had the opportunity to express views, recreate reality, and bring in the positivity of the current traffic situation.

Many pictures have "captured" valuable moments of traffic safety order violations

The photos are indicative of careful investments from high school contestants

In particular, the Collective Award was given to class 11 French 1, which was the class with the most number of photos (39 photos.) Third prizes went to the photo "Dangerous" by Vu Phuong Tra (11 Computer Science) and the photo "Everyone with a helmet" by Nguyen Quynh Trang (11 Geography). The owner of the second prize was Duong Hoang Long (11 Physics 1) with the photo "Pupils and students who do not wear helmets.” The highest award of the competition belonged to a group of 11 Math 1 students with the photo "The police officers on duty of ramifying traffic at the intersection of Trang Thi.”

The Exhibition was filled with artistic works that authentically recreated the current traffic situation and that around schools. Vivid and realistic images created a great sense of warning. The exhibition contributed to raising awareness about the safety of traffic and adjusts traffic behaviors on the street.

The students engrossed in the works in the exhibition

Speaking at the awarding ceremony of the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien, member of the Permanent Bureau of the Committee of National Family Safety, Chief Editor of Traffic Newspaper, expressed joy and gratitude: "I have directly seen the work the students perform and I am extremely pleased that their perspective on and knowledge of traffic safety is relatively sufficient. The knowledge is a platform for students to pay attention when in traffic and to protect themselves. I hope that each of the students who have been set as examples will continue to be actively engaged in traffic safety. I also hope that we can maintain meaningful activities in the next semester, in order to spread the spirits to other students of Hanoi in particular and of Vietnam in general. "

Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien, member of the Permanent Bureau of the Committee of National Family Safety, Chief Editor of Traffic Newspaper, spoke at the ceremony.

It can be said, through the exhibiton of the safety of traffic, the school has created an opportunity for Amsers to have an opportunity to express themselves, to learn, to practice, and to raise awareness about traffic safety. A developing country only develops when the country is comprehensive in all aspects and when traffic safety significantly contributes to the country of civilization and modernity. That is the idea that the exhibition wants to encourage. We hope that the students will become more positive and more proactive in traffic issues in order to protect the welfare of themselves, their families and the society.
