THE SCIENCE & ENGINEERING COMPETITION 2020-2021 AWARD CEREMONY AND THE “WELCOMING CLASS COMPETITION"
To commend the achievements of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School’s teachers and students in academic contests as well as in collective activities, an Award Ceremony for the National Science & Engineering competition was held on the morning of March 29, 2021. On top of that, 34 classes enthusiastically took part in the recent “Welcoming Class Competition".
At the ceremony, the School Administrators sang the staff/teacher staff praises for their outstanding accomplishment in the recent National Science & Engineering competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Out of 141 projects from 61 Departments of Education and Training, 7 Universities for Gifted Students, 1 Vietnam Northern Upland High School, the scientific research topic chosen by two students From Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Do Gia Khanh (11 Informatics) and Ngo Gia Bao (11 Maths 1): “The Caremeal program - the solution to nutritional management issues and a good source of meal plan recommendations for students at the age of 6-14” brought them home the 2nd Prize of the competition. This is an honourable achievement for not only the teachers in charge but for every teacher and student of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School as well.

What’s more, the results of the “Welcoming Class Competition" held by Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union have been announced, with 34 Secondary and High School classes bringing home the 1st Prize, the 2nd Prize, the 3rd Prize and the Consolation Prize.
The Consolation Prize went to 13 classes in total: 6 Liverpool, 6B, 6C, 7 Liverpool, 7E, 8B, 8C, 10 Geography, 10 Chinese, 11 Physics, 11 Cambridge, 12 Maths 2.

Here are the 9 winners of the 3rd Prize: 7C, 8 Liverpool, 9B, 9C, 10 Maths 1, 10 Maths 2, 10 Biology, 11 Physics 2, 12 Physics 2.

Far from being inferior, 8 classes which go by the name of 6 Manchester, 6D, 7B, 7D, 10 Chemistry 2, 10 English 2, 10 Computer Science, 11 Biology got their well-deserved 2nd Prize.

And to top it all off, 4 classes: 7A, 8A, 10 Literature, 10 Physics 2 took home the First Prize of the “Welcoming Class Competition".
