Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong reviewed the achievements of Hanoi students in international exams and commented: Teachers and students had overcome all difficulties caused by the Covid-19 epidemic to carry out effective teaching, learning and review. Schools also prepared their facilities and regulations for online exams to meet international standards.

Hanoi students participated in 5 exams and all achieved excellent results. Specifically, at the international astronomy and astrophysics competition, all 5 students won prizes with 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.

At the international Olympic competition, Hanoi students won 1 gold and 6 silver medals. At the same time, they won second place in the team round and ranked fourth in points. 

At the International Youth Science Olympiad, all 6 students won prizes with 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals. This is also the highest achievement in the 10 times  Hanoi students participated in this exam. 

At the International Youth Math competition, all 16 students won prizes with 14 medals (1 Gold Medal, 9 Silver Medals, 4 Bronze Medals) and 2 Consolation prizes.

Head of the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee Bui Huyen Mai and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Chu Xuan Dung awarded the Certificate of Merit of the City People's Committee to the students who won silver and bronze medals.

At the 18th International Math and Science competition, Hanoi students won 22 medals, including 9 silver medals and 13 bronze medals.
