On top of excellent academic achievements, Bao Tram is known for her enthusiasm in the ‘Youth Group’ and ‘Ho Chi Minh Pioneers' activities. She also represented Vietnamese children as their messenger, partaking in the ‘Children forum’ and joining the discussion with Presidents from different countries.

Born in 2005, Chu Hoa Bao Tram is currently a student from class 11 History, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted

“When Bao Tram was 3 years old, I found out that she had potential when it comes to singing, yet reservation standing in front of many people. Hence, I signed up for Tram a course in culture at Hanoi Children’s Palace, and accompanied her in a long time for familiarisation”, Ms. Truong Thi Thu Trang, Bao Tram’s mother, shared.

That was also the “turning point” for Tram, she began to emerge as a young talent and received a plethora of invitations to different events. Endowed with a beautiful and clear voice, in 2011, Tram made it to the Top 10 in the national talent show “Do Re Mi” organized by Viet Nam Television.

In 2014, she continued to attain the first prize in a competition searching for talented young emcees. This is also the impetus for Tram to become a household name as an MC for large-scale children events within Ha Noi City.

During her days as a secondary school student, Tram, as a member of the Hanoi Pioneering Teenagers club (Le Duan School), reveled in “Youth Group” and “Ho Chi Minh Pioneers” activities. An exemplary and zesty Young Pioneer Commander, Tram also achieved a multitude of prizes, such as the second prize in “Ruler of the country - regional level”, third prize in “Talented Young Pioneer Commander - regional level”, or first prize in “Little Dien Bien Soldier”,... as well as 20 other certificates of different levels.

Moreover, on many occasions, Bao Tram, as the representative for Vietnamese children, has participated in the dialogue with presidents from different nations, as well as ministers in Viet Nam, about the conduction of the task of caring for and protecting children.

Chu Hoa Bao Tram is the excellent young representative to discuss and open in the launching ceremony of the National Committee on Children and the opening of the National Telephone Switchboard for Child Protection 111 on 06/1202017.

“It is my hopes and dreams to devote my trivial part to meaningful programmes, to spread the messages about children rights, and to represent youths from all over Viet Nam voicing our thoughts and desires.”

In 2020, Tram was one of the elite 10 children of capital Hanoi from 2015 to 2020 to take part in the “Uncle Ho’s all-rounded children Congress” on the national scale. She was awarded the national label in recognition as an excellent niece of Uncle Ho.

Thanks to her restless dedication to community activities, Tram was awarded the title “Good citizen, good deeds 2018”, and “Exemplary youth 2021”.

Despite her zesty involvement in Youth Group and Ho Chi Minh Pioneers activities at school, Tram secured her place as an academically outstanding student. Currently she is the class chairperson, deputy secretary, and a member of the school’s executive board (extended).

Previously, Tram stood out as a good student for 10 successive years on school or regional level. Embarking on High School, she maintained her performance with the highest overall score in her class, followed by the honorable scholarship in 2020-2021.

Ms. Trang also shared: “Sometimes, my daughter partook in so many activities that I was worried about her negligence of other work. I often advise her to temporarily cease all the activities to fully concentrate on studying during crucial times, such as entrance examinations. However, she persisted in convincing us with her clear objectives, so we are always by her side.”

What is the utmost happiness to Tram is the support she gets from her parents to pursue her hobbies, and to decide on her studies independently.

“I derive a lot of joy from participating in community activities. Besides, such activities are opportunities for me to grow up, to enhance my skills, and to be whole-heartedly guided by my teachers and seniors.”

Hence, Tram always has herself specific schedules to balance and maximally harness all the time she’s got. Anywhere, anytime, she will attempt to finish all her study and then practice for other activities. However, during hectic occasions, Tram will consider all her work and prioritize the most urgent.

Talking about her plans for the near future, Tram said: “Together with my friends, we are carrying out some community projects in the field of child protection. Moreover, it’s also my intention to accomplish my study desirably,, and to partake in many other activities to pass on messages about children to everybody.”
