Congratulations to the outstanding achievements of the Hanoi team in the National Students' Competition 2018
After months of rigorous practice for the national contest under the guidance and instruction of teachers, the Hanoi-based team of gifted students, especially the pupils of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School, has brought back excellent results.
The 2018 National Students' Competition took place in four days from January 10 to January 13 of 2018 with 12 subjects, including those with both theoretical and experimental tests. The Hanoi delegation had 181 contestants, including 100 students from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School.
On the afternoon of January 30, the results of the competition for the was announced. The delegation of Hanoi's high school students won 132 prizes, of which Hanoi-Amsterdam High School contributed 79 prizes.
Students of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School who won high prizes were commended and awarded in the opening ceremony of the school year 2017-2018.
More specifically, students from the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School won 9 First Prizes (1 Physics prize, 1 Chemistry prize, 1 Biology prize, 1 Geography prize, 2 English prizes, 1 French prize); 27 Second prizes (2 Maths prize, 1 Physics prize, 5 Chemistry prizes, 3 Computer Science prizes, 2 Literature prizes, 1 Geography prize, 12 English prizes, 1 French prize); 26 third prizes and 17 consolation prizes. Among these are outstanding names such as 10 grader Nguyen Tuan Hoang from Computer Science Class who won Second prize, 12 grader Tran Duc Huy from Physics Class who won First prize, and 11 grader Tran Ba Tan from Chemistry Class who won First prize.
With these impressive achievements, the Hanoi delegation successfully preserves its reputation for being one of the leading delegations of the country in terms of quantity and quality of prizes in the National Students' Competition. Notably, Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted in particular has once again affirmed its role in the Capital Education sector with remarkable results.
