The first round of Hanoi's Competition for gifted 12th graders in all majors was a success for both students and teachers of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. After days of hard work, thanks to the the teachers’ dedication to teaching and guiding them, all major teams participating in the competition have acquired numerous awards as well as high rankings.

Among the 10 subjects' published results, up to 8 of them have Amsers at the top of the list. These include: Math, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Computer Science, English, and French.

The Math team has excellently accomplished its mission as the first 4 ranks all belong to the students of Hanoi - Amsterdam. Not only that, Pham Nam Khanh, despite being the youngest competitor (10 Math-1), has topped the list with an almost perfect score of 19.5/20.

Similar to the Math team, the Physics team has also achieved great success, especially Dinh Anh Dung (11 Physics-1), who ranked No.1with the score of 19.75/20.

Topping the Biology list is Le Thi Hong  Hoa (12 Biology) achieving the score of 19/20.

As for Geography and History, our Amsers are not to be outdone by other students either. Topping the lists of these subjects are Le Linh Ha (12 Geography) with the score of 18.75/20 and Bui My Hanh (12 History) with the score of 18.5/20.

English has always been our strength, and it comes as no surprise to see 14 candidates standing at the top of the list with Le Minh Thuy (11 English-1) achieving the highest score of 19.5/20.

French also achieved relatively outstanding results as Hoang Ngan Ha (11 French-2) topped the list with the highest score of 18.75/20.

The Computer Science team marked a strong return for Amsers when up to 3 competitors, including Phung Trong Hoang, Le Minh Hai Phong, Le Quynh Trang (all in 11 Computer Science), have achieved the maximum score of 20/20.

Although the subjects of Literature and Chemistry don't have Amsers at the top of the lists, these students have tried their best and also achieved relatively high scores and rankings.

This is a remarkable achievement for the students and teachers of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School  in particular and for Hanoi in general. Once again we would like to congratulate all the participants in the competition, and hope you will be able to maintain your confidence , performance and composure to achieve even greater success in the upcoming rounds  !!!
