After more than 2 months of hard work with many teachers and instructors, in just a few days’ time, 111 students from hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted will officially step into the national contest for excellent students - a demanding competition full of challenges, a competition that will objectively test the students’ study and knowledge-acquiring process during the past  With an aim to advise and encourage students before stepping into the competition, the school board hosted an endearingly meaningful meeting.

Starting the meeting, Educator Tran Thuy Duong - Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the school had a few encouraging and advisory words for the teams of 13 subjects on behalf of the school board. She shared that there were several teachers present in the hall who had been members of excellent students teams and had experienced the same feelings as all of the students then. She advised students to always be confident, relaxed and to keep the skill and spirit of Hanoi - Amsterdam students to achieve the best results in their tests. Finally, she wished all the students good health, good luck and achievements in the upcoming contest to make themselves worthy of parents’ and teachers’ upbringing and also worthy of the esteemed position of the 35-year-old school.

Continuing the meeting, on behalf of 111 representative students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, student Nguyen Hoang Nam class 12 Physics 1 - member of the Physics team made a speech to express his thoughts and feelings as well as showing his determination for the upcoming contest. He said that he was extremely proud and happy to represent the city’s team of the most excellent students and to be able to compete with peers from all over the country. He extended his deepest gratitude to the authorities and especially the teachers in charge of the school teams for having helped the students tremendously in learning and developing themselves. Finally, he expressed his determination and promised to do his best and never stop trying to achieve the best results.

After that, the school gave a few presents to the teachers in charge of the school teams as a good luck wish to the students facing the challenging competition ahead.

At the end of the meeting, Educator Duong Tu Anh - Party Commissioner, Vice Principal of the school gave students her valuable advice on time management, schedule, attitude and behavior throughout the course of the contest while also wishing students the best of luck.
