Joining the jubilant Lunar New Year atmosphere of families all over the country, with the consensus of the school's management board and the help from teachers and parents, the students of Hanoi - Amsterdam Secondary School successfully held the 2023 Tet Festival on January 13, 2023.

Tet Festival is an annual activity for secondary school students, which aims to give Amsers interesting and memorable experiences with a festive atmosphere. After being absent for two years due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the return of the 2023 Tet Festival has received a great deal of attention and anticipation from Amsers. Coming to this year's Festival, the classes have designed some unique and colorful booths with their own spirit and dishes characteristic of Vietnamese cuisine.

Colorful booths attracted lots of students.

This year's Tet Festival program takes place with brand new activities. Talented and creative classes have brought exciting and captivating musical performances to fire up the mood. In addition to the musical performances, the students also participated in the banh chung wrapping contest and the Golden Bell Challenge game.

The banh chung wrapping contest took place with 23 teams including parents and students from 23 classes. In just a short stint of competing, the teams successfully completed their part with the product of a pair of banh chung. Class 6B excellently won First prize overall in this year's contest.

To give students an opportunity to try and learn more about the traditional Lunar New Year holiday, the organizers have arranged a Golden Bell Challenge game with the theme "Tet of Love". This year's questionnaire has offered many  challenges for students, owing to its difficulty, variety and novelty. After 8 questions, only two representatives from class 8 Manchester and 9A respectively remained on stage. The outstanding contestant who won the chance to ring the golden bell was Bui Dang Phat from 8 Manchester.

The Tet Festival program ended in the coziness of the lively anticipation for Tet with the performance “Tet in my hometown” from class 6D and the awards ceremony for the classes.

On behalf of the Editorial Board, I would like to wish all teachers and parents a happy and healthy new year. I also wish all Amsers a peaceful new year with many more proud achievements.
