Ms. My Linh shined in the Costume round

Interviewer: Hello! Firstly, I want to congratulate you on winning the highest prize in this pageant. Can you share your emotion right now after knowing the result?

Ms. My Linh: Firstly, I feel very lucky to be awarded 1st prize because the other candidates are all very talented and gracious teachers. Also, I am deeply moved by the care of the school board, the school union, and especially the spirited cheers of the teachers in the Literature Faculty.

Interviewer: To you, what does the pageant, especially your winning 1st prize, mean?

Ms. My Linh: Actually, every teacher has their distinct beauty, aura, nobody is better or worse than others so being awarded the highest prize was very meaningful for me! When I was standing on the stage, I was a little bit nervous but the cheering from everybody in my faculty had calmed me down and gave me the strength to finish the round with confidence! For me, the most meaningful thing that I got from the pageant was not only the prize but the love and the solidarity of everybody in the faculty.

Interviewer: In the process of competing in this pageant, did you have any difficulty in the preparation or the performance?

Ms. My Linh: The most challenging thing in competing in the pageant was maybe how to balance between teaching and participating in school activities. Because of the packed teaching schedule, the time spent practicing and preparing for a polished and flawless performance was not much. However, I am still very happy to have finished my performance and received great support from everybody.

Interviewer: Can you share more about your most significant memory throughout the competition?

Ms. My Linh: There are many memories of this pageant. I feel that the most memorable was not how I competed or what was the result but the marvelous memory was how everybody had helped and tended to me, gave me love and care. I remembered when I was performing from the stage, looking down, I saw everybody in the Literature faculty was cheering with drumbeat and sign that wrote: “My Linh fighting" and they singing with me in my performance helped me blended in with the atmosphere, bearing no pressure about achievements or the initial nervousness.
