[CELEBRATING 8/3] INTERESTING STORIES FROM PHAM HOANG BAO CHAU - BIOLOGY 2124 ABOUT INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 8/3

Post by: trangtrang | 08/03/2022 | 913 reads

International Women's Day (Marrch 8) has always been an awesome occasion for us to honor and show our love for women around the world. This year, however,  we have to continue to spend this special holiday in the midst of a fairly complicated pandemic; flower stalls and gifts are not sold as densely on the streets as in previous years. However, that have not dampen the festive mood of March 8 and prevent everyone's affection and sympathy for the "special half of the world." For International Women's Day, let's listen to some interesting stories from Pham Hoang Bao Chau - Biology 2124 about the holiday with Ams Wide Web!

Reporter (Rept.): What does March 8 mean for Bao Chau?

Bao Chau: In my opinion, March 8 or International Women's Day is a great holiday for us to shower the women we love the most with care and affection. It is also a day when I could express my gratitude to my grandmother, mother, and teacher, who have always been with me and protected me. Additionally, this is also an opportunity to honor the great role women play in society. Thanks to them, the world has become a more beautiful place than ever.

Rept.: Does your class have any special activities on International Women's Day every year? You can share a memorable March 8th with me!

Bao Chau: On March 8th of the previous years, my classmates would hold a small party and give adorable gifts to the girls. Even though the boys had to ask for a lot of help from the parents in order to hold those parties successfully, we were very happy and excited. I think the most memorable memory of March 8th is the lively meeting arranged by the boys of class 10 Biology today. The boys have prepared very elaborate spiritual gifts for the teacher and the girls in class. Besides, we received a lot of witty and sincere congratulations from them.

Rept.: This year, we're going to have another special holiday, March 8th, in a very tense pandemic situation. Do you think the good meaning of March 8 will be reduced when we can't meet in person and give each other many congratulations and gifts?

Bao Chau: I don't think the atmosphere of March 8th will be as exciting as the previous years because of the epidemic and all activities should be held at home. Nevertheless, I believe that the good meaning of this special holiday will remain the same, because the most important thing is the love we give to the women we cherish. Even though we couldn't see each other in person, the girls and I was so touched and happy to be able to attend the March 8 ceremony hosted by boys of class 10 Biology.

Rept.: What special arrangements did Bao Chau's family have in the past to celebrate International Women's Day?

Bao Chau: Every March 8th, my father buys a beautiful bouquet for my grandmother and mother. After that, the whole family will gather together and have a warm dinner together. This year was no exception: my family prepared a very pretty chrysanthemum vase outside the living room, and my father bought dinner for the whole family.

Rept.: Can you tell me about your plans for March 8th this year? On a day when women are celebrated all over the world, what plans did you make to express your feelings to your grandmother and mother?

Bao Chau: This year, I planned to knit a bouquet of flowers out of wool for my grandmother and mother. But due to the epidemic in my area, I couldn't go out and buy equipment or order online. Since I couldn't give gifts to my grandmother and mother, I gave a lot of warm hugs and congratulations to the women I love today.

Rept.: What message for March 8 does Bao Chau have for the teachers and girls of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted in particular and "half of the world" in general?

Bao Chau: On March 8th, I wish all the female staff of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted happiness, health and peace. I wish that all the girls will have a meaningful March 8th and can come back to school to meet your friends soon. May the "beautiful half of the world" always be beautiful and confident to shine anywhere.

Rept.: Thank you Bao Chau for agreeing to participate in today's interview. Have a awesome and joyful March 8th with your relatives!

On March 8th International Women's Day, the Ams Wide Web editorial board wishes grandmothers, mothers, and sisters the best wishes, and I hope you have a meaningful March 8th day with your family.
