On the Sunday morning of 31/3/2013, Ams Connect brought together several generations of Amsers at a talk show held at Handi Resco building, 521 Kim Ma street, Hanoi. It received enormous attention and support from Hanoi – Amsterdam students' community.

Ams Connect 2013 included two talkshows: Success stories and advice from senior Amsers, and the sharings of the new generation of Amsers who is well known in various fields.

The impressive introduction clip.

Opening the talkshow was Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh – an alumnus from the Physics specialised class of 92-95, now a macroeconomist, director of Vietnam Center for Economics and Policy Research (VEPR) – National University, and a member of the Prime Minister’s Economy Consulting team. In his own humorous and astute tone, Thanh talked about how he became a policy-maker delighting and inspiring all the audience. According to him, being an Amser means that you already have some particular abilities; however, in order to be successful, "everything starts with a dream" , you need to set your own foundation when you are still in high school by establishing and enhancing relationships and taking part in social activities. He hoped that "Ams Connect" would be an activity that could connect Amsers of different generations and help Amsers achieve success.

Also, the attendance of super model Ha Anh was the highlight of the talkshow. Upon hearing Ha Anh sharing her path to fame, the audience knew how important Ams was to her, as “It doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter how atypical you are, you can still find your place here at Ams. I always cherished the dream of becoming a super model while in high school"
