Attending the congress, there were 75 official delegates, in which 11 are members of the Executive Committee of the 2020-2021 term.  Attending and directing the congress were Comrade Le Thi Thu Trang - Secretary of Cau Giay District Union, Comrade Tran Thuy Duong - Secretary of the Party Committee, the school’s principal and comrade Phan Hong Anh - Secretary of the school union for the term 2020 - 2021.

Starting the congress was a vibrant musical performance of the Cheer Ams club to welcome the delegates who had attended.

After the opening, the delegates started electing the Presidium and Secretary of the Congress with consensus on the number, list and composition, in order to approve the program and working regulations of the Congress. Unanimously, the Presidium includes: Comrades Do Nguyen Quynh Mai - Vice Secretary of the Youth Union for the 2020-2021 term, Comrades Tran Thuy Dung - Member of the Executive Committee of the School's Youth Union for the 2020-2021 school year, Comrades Phan Thanh Hang - Member of the Executive Committee of the School Union of the school year 2020 - 202. The secretariat includes: Comrades Nguyen Hieu Minh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and Comrades Le Thuy Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union.

The Presidium and the Secretariat took up their positions

Next, Comrades Phan Hong Anh, on behalf of the Presidium, read the report summarizing the work of the youth union for the term 2020 - 2021, then setting future tasks for the term 2021 - 2022. The Executive Committee of the Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted carried out the Youth Union’s work and Youth Movement with the goal of improving the quality of the Union's work, encouraging the students to study and create in order to raise the awareness about ethics and lifestyle. At the same time, the Executive Committee tried to propagate ideologies to the Youth Union members. In addition, the Executive Board of the School Union has successfully organized meaningful extracurricular activities: Ngay Hoi Anh Tai, Ams' Got Talent, ... In terms of academics, the School Union continued to maintain its title as one of the leaders and the most elite schools in the capital with a series of awards at the city, national and international levels.

After reaching agreement on the members of the Vote Counting Committee with the Head of the Committee, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Duy Anh, the Congress officially underwent one of its key tasks: electing the Executive Committee of the Youth Union for the term 2021 - 2022.

Through secret ballot and strict censorship of the members of the Vote Counting Committee, based on the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Official Dispatch No. 01 of the Department of Education and Training, and the direction of the Orientation of Cau Giay District Youth Union on organization of congresses at all levels, based on the direction of the Party Committee of the School Board of Directors on the organization of the Youth Union Congress for the term 2021 - 2022 and the actual situation of the Youth Union, the Congress approved 15 comrades to officially become the new Executive Committee of the School Union for the school year 2021 - 2022:

From there, the delegates elected 7 official delegates and 2 alternates to attend the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Cau Giay district for the term 2022 - 2027.
